4 Prove Of God's Love - He Is Jelous

4 Prove Of God's Love - He Is Jelous
We are still studying five important points about how God Loved us and it's proven by:

  1. His hand putting our body parts together while we were still in our mothers womb Psams 139: 13

  2. His sacrifice of Christ dying painful death to save us Romans 5:8

  3. He gave us the inspired bible so that there's no  much communication gap 2 Timothy 3:16

Today we are talking about,

GOD'S JEALOUSY:

First of all, what does it mean to be  jealous? We'll, to be jealous is;

  1. Suspecting opposition in love; troubled by worries that one might have been replaced in someone's affections; suspicious of a lover's or spouse's faithfulness.

  2. To be carefully protective to what you love and appreciate.

  3. To envy someone for their success

  4. To be suspicious.

Out of the four definitions above, number two is primarily what we are talking about because God can't be suspicious or suspect for He knows all things. God carefully protects us.

Jealousy is the evidence of love. Those who are jealous are very sensitive.

It's common in America to find  civilians lawfully owning pistols for protection mean while in most African traditional societies, you will find the head of the family keeping a sharp spear incase of insecurities, he uses it to protect his family.

Also in America or in developed part of the world, kissing is common, you can greet by kissing because there are different types of kissing but in most parts of Africa, it's rare and some relate it to sex.

This brings me to a relevant story of jelousy. An African brother retuned from US after fifteen years, greeted his drunk brother who sometimes smoke opium with handshake but reaching the wife he kissed her twice, just a normal kiss of greetings. So his drunk brother got angry and started threatening his younger brother recalling their old quarrels when they were still kids. So he gave him five minutes to leave his home, accusing him of showing children bad example, attempting to romance his wife before his eyes in a broadday light. He ran and picked his spear and his younger brother refused to obey the five minutes ultimatum, he also pulled his pistol and told his brother he's at home, he isn't going anywhere. To make it short neighbors came and seperated them.

The funny thing is this is a man who beats his wife and now because of love, he want to kill somebody.

God said He's jealous because of us. He sent Jesus to die for us. He may punish us to discipline us but He is willing to do anything to secure us and He did it. When Satan comes around us, He feels jelous even more than this drunk brother.

In the next article, I will talk about the last Prove Of God's Love.

Thanks
