1 Six Conditions In Which Satan Attacks Most Believers

1 1 Six Conditions In Which Satan Attacks The Believers
Satan attacks believers under different spiritual conditions. I have listed six common ones in which he normally launches spiritual battles with scripture reference.

  1. WHEN YOU MAKE A POSITIVE DECISION TO FOLLOW GOD: When Jesus was baptized, the trinity was affirmed by  God the father speaking in a loud voice, God the son was been baptized, and God the holy spirit appeared in the form of a dove. This great baptism was immediately followed by Satan's temptation. Many believers experience more temptations than ever after deciding to follow Jesus. Mathew 3:16-17 & 4:1

  2. BEFORE YOU ENDEAVOR ON A DEVINE MISSION When Jesus fasted for 40 days and before He begins His public Ministry, Satan attacked Him. When we pray or fast, Satan feels the power of our prayers in the spiritual realm affecting his kingdom negatively so he may try to bar us from moving on. "From then on, Jesus began to tell people, “Turn to God and change the way you think and act, because the kingdom of heaven is near!” Matthew 4:17"

  3. WHEN WE ARE WEAK OR VULNERABLE: During fastings, we are physically weak but our spiritual strength weakens Satan so, in Jesus' case, he wanted to take advantage of His physical weakness by the offer of temporary bread. Mathew 4:2-3. Let's also note 1 Peter 5:8 Keep your mind clear, and be alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion as he looks for someone to devour. A hungry lion is too weak to catch a stronger animal but normally he scares them and ends up preying on one which has a weakness.

  4. WHEN WE ARE LONELY: Satan often loves to give company to those who are lonely for example those who commit suicide are often attacked while they are lonely and in a weak mental state. It's the same thing with Eve in the garden of Eden and Jesus later. Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1

  5. HE OFTEN USES OUR MOST TRUSTED PEOPLE: All the prophet's prophesied that Jesus is the lamb of God who has to die for our sins but Satan technically wanted to use Peter who's one of the top three disciples to stop Jesus from going to die by offering Him physical security. Jesus immediately knew it was Satan and rebuked him. Peter took him aside and objected to this. He said, “Heaven forbid, Lord! This must never happen to you!” But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get out of my way, Satan! You are tempting me to sin. You aren’t thinking the way God thinks but the way humans think.”Matthew 16:22‭-‬23

  6. WHEN HE RETURN: Satan normally doesn't give up after the first attack, he normally returns to retest believers. After the devil had finished tempting Jesus in every possible way, the devil left him until another time.

Luke 4:13 If Satan will return for Jesus, what about you?

CONCLUSION: As believers, we should always be in Christ, and this way we shall always overcome temptations.

The Lord will rescue me from all harm and will take me safely to his heavenly kingdom. Glory belongs to him forever! Amen.

2 Timothy 4:18
